  Amazing local cheese. Such great and unique flavors! The price is good too, it is easy to take a risk on a new out there cheese when you aren't spending an arm and a leg.

  Always used to love the Armstrong Extra Old Cheddar, now I find its just rubbery and inexpensively made, which is why it's always on sale (I think). I thought at first maybe it was just me but I mentioned this to a few friends and family member and they agreed that it isn't the same as it was a few years ago...now I buy Compliments Cheddar and it's made with pasteurized milk where the Armstrong I believe is made with modified milk ingredients which makes the difference in the flavour and texture. I did reach out to Armstrong a month or two ago with my questions to give them an opportunity to explain, but no one ever responded...I would rather pay a $1 or so more for good tasty cheddar. Until they bring the old recipe back I will stick with the Compliments Cheddar from Thrifty Foods at $7.99 for 700g (when on sale)
